FRENCH PRESS
Time 4 minutes
Ratio 1:12 (30g Coffee Coarse / 350g Water at 205F)
Step 1: Add fresh ground coffee to the French press.
Step 2: In a slow and spiral motion from the center, saturate all coffee grounds with 60g of water. Give the grounds a gentle stir and let sit for 30 seconds. With the same motion, pour in the remaining water.
Step 3. Place the lid and let the coffee steep for 4 minutes.
Step 4: At the end of 4 minutes, press the handle down.
Step 5: Pour and Enjoy!
Chemex
Time 4 - 4:30 minutes
Ratio 1:14 (50g Coffee Medium Coarse / 700g Water at 205F)
Step 1: Place filter in Chemex.
Step 2: Pre-wet and fully saturate the filter with hot water. Discard this water.
Step 3: Add ground coffee to the filter.
Step 4: In a slow and spiral motion from the center, saturate all coffee grounds with 100g of water, let sit for 45 seconds (keep water level 1 inch below rim). After this first bloom, pour an additional 200g of water in same motion. Pause for 5 seconds and repeat this twice more.
Step 5: Pour and enjoy!
